I worked hard to keep this business alive in this beautiful location. Thank you God for sticking by me when i thought i could not go on. Owning a restaurant comes with a lot of laughs and a lot of tears. So many different walks of life, memories made inside these walls. Few people make a restaurant their career. A lot of people use it for a second income to pay the bills. And some are always in and out of the business cause they know restaurants always need an extra hand and someone always needs an extra buck. I always tell my staff who are unsure of their futures, treat the cafe as a stepping stone. And work here until you can figure out a future career. Today, we say Goodbye to our Emily. Emily will be heading off to the Coast Guard, she’s been sworn in and leaves Tuesday. I hope everyone will wish her well. Like i always tell my staff, go off in the world and find yourself. The Cafe will always be here. We love you Big Em! Now go do it big girl!!! 🎖️🇺🇸☕️🫶🏻❄️🥹♥️💁🏻‍♀️
