Mamma Mia’s is a family restaurant in every sense of the word. Back in 1974, Pasquale "Pat" and Giovanni "John" Viscariello, two brothers from Airola, Italy, decided to put their cooking skills to the test and opened their first restaurant in Kingston. Their wives, Maria "Francesca" and Eugenia, known as "Jenny," worked beside them. Today, there are six Mamma Mia’s restaurants: Kingston, Marshfiel
d, Hanover, Carver, and two in Plymouth- the newest location, at the Pinehills in Plymouth. Portions are large, prices are reasonable, and service is friendly, so it’s no wonder that the restaurant attracts a lot of families. The brothers who opened the first Mamma Mia’s 45 years ago still make the red sauce for all the restaurants. The Viscariellos say they are inspired by integrity and traditional family values and are committed to working together to serve the highest quality authentic, Italian food.
