And we’ve made it to our first rodeo of the weekend! The Ione Homecoming Rodeo was a special one for me because as I made my lap through the arena I got to see and hear so many friends and family members. Before my grand entry, I had the incredible honor of representing, Rich Gold with our American flag. Although I had never met Rich myself, I could tell by the words that were said, and how much family he had present, that he was an amazing person.

While at the rodeo, our 2019-2020 Miss Amador County Fair Rodeo Queen, and my co-coordinator, Julia Kalika was riding along with the Painted Ladies. It’s always fun seeing her and catching up with her.

I know I’ll be getting more amazing pictures from this rodeo soon so I’ll be sure to post them when I get them!

Now we’re not over yet we have one more BIG event to go over this weekend, so stay tuned for one more post until we roll over into everything frogs this next week! 🐸🩷

Saturday morning was the Ione Homecoming parade through Main Street! Now although this isn’t my first time through this parade, this was certainly a memorable ride through because nothing beats getting announced as your Queen. Of course I had to find Miss Amador, Taylor Tollet to get our crowns and sashes together for a photo! You could feel the excitement for the events later in the day in the air. I knew I was excited for the rodeo but after the parade it was the only thing on my mind!

This weekend kicked off on Friday at the Ione Homecoming kids rodeo! I got to help out with all sorts of events but of course, my favorite will always be the mutton Bustin’. While I was there I finally got to congratulate Grace Dorris for being crowned the 2026 Miss Ione! So excited to add a new sash sister to the bundle.

Keeps your hair big and your dreams bigger.

On Saturday I attended the 77th annual La Grange Rodeo!

It was my first time taking the trip up to La Grange and it is certainly one I won’t forget. From the booths, the competitive rodeo, and of course my favorite part, hearing my name get called out during grand entry it, was everything a rodeo should be. This was also the kickoff to rodeo season and it was so nice seeing all of my sash sisters and meeting some brand new ones!

Congratulations to the new La Grange queens, Alexa Molina as senior Queen, Marley Tedore as Junior Queen, and Kensley Silvia as princess, I can’t wait to see where this year takes you all! And not a goodbye but a see you later to the past queens Savannah Fulton as senior queen and Alisha Baker as junior queen, you both have made a huge impact on my life and did an amazing job representing La Grange. This was just the beginning to our 2026 rodeo season and I’m already itching for the next one, but La Grange was the perfect way to start it off.
