Amador County Fair Rodeo Queen

Amador County Fair Rodeo Queen Contestant must be between the ages of 16 and 25, as of orientation. All entrants must attend with parent or guardian (if under 18 years of age).

See website for additional criteria. * Contestant must be between the ages of 16 and 25, as of January 1, 2022. All entrants must attend with parent or guardian (if under 18 years of age).
* Entrant must not have been involved in, ever convicted of, or pleaded guilty to any crimes, including felonies and/or misdemeanors (exclusive of traffic violations) nor have ever used illegal drugs of any kind

(now or in the past).
* Entrant must be single, never have been married, nor had her marriage annulled. In the event that entrant is chosen Miss Amador County Fair Rodeo Queen, and decides to get married during her reign, she automatically relinquishes her title. Entrant must not be, nor ever have been pregnant.
* Must be an Amador County resident, and/or from a contiguous county:
Sacramento, San Joaquin, Calaveras, El Dorado.
* Contestant must own or lease a suitable horse for the rodeo and other related events, but it need not be the horse used in the contest.

Over the weekend I had the honor of attending the Queen of Honor luncheon, organized by Lynsay Moe, at the Clements Buckaroos. I met Maggie, who has Trisomy 18, a rare genetic disorder that has a very low survival rate. Maggie is 5 and has far surpassed her life expectancy and is an inspiration to us all.

Thank you to all the volunteers who organized this event, and the families that made her rodeo queen dreams come true.

We love you Maggie! You're now a sash sister and part of an amazing community.

Now that the dust has settled on this year’s contest, we’d love to officially introduce our 2026 Amador County Fair Rodeo Queen!

Hello everyone! My name is Kyra Brown I am 16 years old and a junior at Lodi High school. I recently moved to Clements.

I am beyond excited and I feel so blessed to be representing your county fair. This county means so much to me. My cousin Lilly Butler won in 2022 and now its my turn to be your queen!

I couldn't have accomplished any of this without the support of my family, friends, community and especially my coaches. Thank you so much for believing in me. I can not wait to show you all my adventures throughout my year.

As I hand over this crown, my heart is filled with so much gratitude. 🤍

Serving as your Amador County Fair Rodeo Queen has been one of the greatest honors of my life. From hot laps to fundraising dinners, every mile, every event, and every memory has shaped me in ways I’ll never forget.

Thank you to my family, friends, sponsors, coordinators, and everyone who supported me throughout this incredible journey. Your encouragement meant more than you’ll ever know.

To the next queen, Kyra Brown, cherish every moment. The year will go by faster than you think, and it will leave you with memories you’ll carry forever.

I am forever grateful to be apart of the ACFRQ sisterhood. Thank you Amador County for being the most supportive community, I wouldn’t dream of representing or growing up in another.
