💙OUR HIGHWAY 54 BUSINESSES NEED OUR COMMUNITY RIGHT NOW💙
For the next 12–14 days, the railroad replacement construction along Highway 54 is going to make getting around look a little different…but the businesses along this corridor are STILL OPEN, STILL ACCESSIBLE, and they need our support more than ever.
The route may have changed. Our businesses haven’t. 💙
Businesses like Club Forest Bar and Grill, Anchor Bay Bar & Grill, The Lake House Beach Club, and all the other businesses along this stretch rely heavily on the everyday traffic traveling between Plover and Wisconsin Rapids. When that traffic is disrupted for nearly two weeks, the impact on our small, local businesses can be significant.
But here’s the important part:
YOU CAN STILL GET HERE! 🙌
There are detours. There are alternate routes. And truly…it’s really not that bad. It might take a few extra turns or a couple extra minutes, but those few minutes can make a BIG difference to a local business.
So over the next 12–14 days, when you’re thinking about grabbing lunch, going out for dinner, meeting friends for a drink, or just getting out of the house…

Take the scenic route.
Make the extra turn.
Support local.
Construction is temporary. These businesses, their employees, and the families behind them are part of our community…and community support is what helps get them through disruptions like this.
