We made sure the word “crust” is in our name because the crust is why we do this. In a world of fake, empty, and poisonous food, we wanted to provide our community with something real.
Wheat is about as real a food as you can get. It was created by God to feed His children. The devil always seeks to corrupt God’s creation, plan, and blessings. This truth no where more clear as it is with wheat.
During the Industrial Revolution, powerful food manufacturers colluded with the titans of convenience and began sifting flour. Why? Because freshly milled flour has enzymes that make it go rancid. Sifted glour is shelf stable.
When they sifted out the flour they sifted out 43 essential nutrients including folate, iron, magnesium, and vitamin E. People literally began dying once they started eating All Purpose flour. So much so that the government made a law that all bread had to be enriched.
Rather than just put the actual nutrients back in the bread (the germ and the bran) the government colluded with the petroleum and big pharma industry (Rockefellers) and enriched the flour with synthetic nutrients.
At first, it wasn’t noticeable because back then people still, for the most part, ate real food. They had gardens, they bought meat from local butchers, and agriculture was not using the amount of chemicals (over 1 million pounds per year) that they do today.
But today the effects of moving food from an agriculturalc, local, homemade product to a manufacturing product is devastating. Our bodies are now not only fighting the synthetic “nutrients” in bread but it’s fighting all the crap in our air, water, clothing, cleaning products, and all other food.
Today Americans are the sickest, fattest, most depressed people on earth. Or, you can say, the most poisoned.
The biggest most powerful thing you can do to combat this travesty that has been perpetrated on the American public is reclaim your food.
We want to be a part of this fight. That’s why the crust, to us, is the most important part of our pizza. It’s freshly milled from organic grain that is periodically tested to ensure it has no glyphosate. We mill as we go. We don’t mill a bunch and stick it on the shelf. We mill the day we make the dough.
In reality, our crust is almost like taking a multi-vitamin. All 43 of those essential nutrients are in there. Then we top it with chemical free sauce, organic cheese, local meats, and organic fresh vegetables.
So please don’t ever see our pizza as a “cheat.” The only thing you are cheating are the food manufacturers-and that’s a good thing.
