Good morning Albuquerque! If you didn’t catch the update to my post yesterday, I have decided to move today’s set up to Vista Del Norte Park off of Osuna. The REI location was kind of a pain in the ass to get to you right now with all of the construction in the area. This will probably be our last and final day as a coffee purveyor here in Albuquerque unless I decide to set up tomorrow…but it’s likely that I won’t so you’d better roll through this morning for that final Catalyst fix! I have pretty much all of the specials on board the van that I would’ve had in the shop as well, including the bomber, all of the fun matcha drinks, and of course the specialty lattes and such! I’d love nothing more than to see you one final time unless you decide to travel out to the Bay Area at some point! Cheers to you!

My dearest Albuquerque friends, I am here in town to collect the coffee Sprinter to relocate it to NorCal. My plan is to depart either late Tuesday or Wednesday morning. However, before I leave I’d like to run the unit a few more times for you here in the 505 and I plan on doing so where it started for us…outside of REI. So look for me tomorrow and Tuesday for sure…maybe Wednesday too but that depends on you and I’ll be there from 7:30am until at least 11am. Stop by as I’d surely love to see you and make you one for the road!

Hey hey friends, while we are still waiting for our departure for the West Coast, you have a couple of more opportunities to grab a Catalyst Coffee from this coffee rocket! This Saturday I will be back at North Domingo Baca Park starting at 7 AM and on Monday you’ll find me at 2424 Louisiana Blvd in front of SunVista also staring at 7am! So if you’re on either area stop by and let me caffeinate you as these will likely be the last two public caffeination sessions for us here in Albuquerque! Friends, I am at a complete loss for words right now and honestly very emotional after the final day here at our west side location. I cannot thank you all enough for the support, love, and encouragement you have shown me since opening the shop here. When I moved back to Albuquerque from the Bay Area, I wanted to create a space for everybody. I wanted to create a space where people would felt seen. I wanted to create a space that felt safe. I wanted to create a space where people could come to enjoy without judgment. I wanted to create a space where everybody would feel welcome. I wanted to create a space for friends and community to gather. I truly do hope that we succeeded in creating that space…a space for all, a space for you. We all created this space together, because without you it never would’ve become what it did. This was just as much yours as it was anyone else’s. This has always been more than about coffee for me. This is about community… building community and supporting each other. There were many people along the way that helped me to bring this vision to life. I’ve had the honor of working with some of the most amazing people here behind the bar at the shop and also the honor of serving some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in this community. A lot of these people will remain lifelong friends, and I have no doubt about that. I will try to share more in the coming days as we wrap things up here and clear out the space that we all created together. Thank you thank you thank you….I love you all more than you know.
