Hiring Servers, Cooks, and a Dishwasher
We are Jinya Ramen Bar in Pleasanton serving delicious and generous ramen and Japanese tapas.
Now we are hiring experienced servers, line cooks and dishwashers who wants to grow together, creating highly flavorful, fresh, innovative ramen, and maintaining our kitchen and wares clean. The ideal candidates are who can work nights, part/full time, and weekends. Shifts are generally 4 to 5 days per week, and 5 to 8 hours each.
Duties:
- Greeting customers and taking orders
- Helping customer services and cleaning
- Selling food and drink.
- Preparation and plating of all menu items
- Cleaning of the line and work areas on a consistent basis and as directed by kitchen manager
- Keeping line stocked with necessary goods and communicating any shortages to kitchen manager promptly
- Preparation of base items, i.e. sauces, portioning goods, processing ingredients, etc.
Position Requirements :
* A minimum 1 year of work experience in an upscale casual environment
* Ability to multi task in a high volume setting
* Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Support and respect people, culture, and values
* Tenacity for meeting challenges, honest and focused
