Well… it’s finally time to share. 🤎

Over the next few days, Birdie’s Craft Coffee will be closed as we begin a brand new chapter. During that time, the shop will be transformed into Copper Lane , with Laken Park Florist & Mercantile joining the second room.

This decision has been one of the hardest I’ve made, but after a lot of prayer, I know it’s the right one.

My babies are only little once. I truly believe ten years from now I won’t regret choosing slower mornings, more time with them before they’re off to school, and the opportunity to pour into the family business we’ve built over the years. My heart is full, and I’m so grateful for this season.

The part that makes this transition so special is Angela.

If you’ve ever been to Birdie’s, you know our favorite redheaded barista. She’s greeted you with a smile, loved on every pup that walked through the doors, remembered your order, and helped make Birdie’s feel like home.

The moment we decided it was time to sell, I quietly prayed she’d come to me wanting it. It just felt right.

There truly isn’t anyone else I would’ve wanted to hand these keys to. Watching her step into her dream of owning a coffee shop has made this bittersweet season so much sweeter. I couldn’t be more proud of her.

I’m also so excited for Paige as she brings Laken Park Florist & Mercantile into the space. Together, these two women are creating something really special, and I can’t wait for our community to experience it.

Don’t worry, your favorite coffee, your beloved local pop tarts, and many familiar faces aren’t going anywhere. ❤️

One thing I couldn’t part with was the our family name, Birdie’s. Maybe that’s because you’ll see us in a new location eventually.

Thank you for believing in this little dream. Thank you for every coffee, every conversation, every event, every hug, and every bit of encouragement along the way.

Now it’s your turn to love on Copper Lane and Laken Park the way you’ve loved on Birdie’s.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply the start of three beautiful new chapters. 🤎

Our locally made Pop-Tarts from The Lavender Moon Bakery | Stephanie Czibrik have been a staple at Birdie’s since we opened, and strawberry is always the first to go.

We get texts and DMs daily asking if we have any left… so tomorrow, we doubled up. 🍓✨

Today is my Mamaw Charlotte’s birthday and if you didn’t know , our Little Charlotte is named after her.

I always tell people, she may be little, but don’t let the name fool you, she packs a punch. Just like our drink, made with both instant coffee and traditional espresso. Some may raise an eyebrow, but if you knew Mamaw, it would make perfect sense.

She’s barely 5 feet tall, only drinks instant coffee, and has one of the biggest personalities I know. Funky, fun, and unforgettable.

From picking Easter flowers to eating bologna sandwiches to making us laugh on hard days, some of my sweetest memories are with her.

Big updates are brewing at Birdie’s, and we’re so excited to share them with you.

We’ve officially switched to , a specialty ✨local✨ roaster with a mission to support addiction recovery and provide hope to those rebuilding their lives. Every cup helps fund treatment and recovery initiatives, proving that coffee can do more than wake you up. It can help change lives. ☕️💗

We’re also proud to be a Foster Friendly Business through . Supporting foster and adoptive families is deeply personal to us, and we’re honored to be part of a community that wraps around families with tangible love and support. This will allow foster/kinship families to get discounted goodies.

With school officially out for the summer, Birdie’s is the perfect place to land. Grab a coffee, let the kids enjoy a treat, and settle in on the patio for a slow morning or afternoon all while knowing you’re supporting great causes.

We’ve also got a fun summer ahead with seasonal drinks, community events, and a few surprises we can’t wait to share.
