"Lost Texan BBQ" is owned and operated by Marti Hammon, a willing transplant to Utah from Houston, Texas and her husband, James. Meats, sauces, sides and salads are all made on site. Meats are applewood smoked and slow cooked to perfection. Try our "Carolina Sauce" with Pork or Chicken, it's amazing. Original "Lost Texan BBQ Sauce" is always available.

Sometimes you have to stop and take it all in. 🙌🏽

Since taking ownership of Lost Texan BBQ in April 2025, this adventure has been WILD, full of long days, lessons learned, challenges, growth, and more blessings than I could’ve imagined.
And one thing I know for sure… we wouldn’t have made it this far without our community.
The way y’all have supported this little Texas BBQ joint means more to us than words can say.

Catering has become one of my favorite parts of this journey. It’s exciting, challenging, sometimes a little crazy 😂 but OH SO rewarding. Every event, every order, and every opportunity to serve reminds me why we took this leap in the first place. 🥰

We’re still learning. Still growing. Still dreaming bigger. And I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has been part of the ride.
From Texas roots to Utah tables… what an adventure it’s been. And yall must know we’re just getting started. 👏🏼

What a difference a year can make! 🙌🏽

Claudia started with Lost Texan BBQ as a quiet, shy server. Today, she has grown into our Customer Service Rep, helping set the standard for how we train our new servers and what exceptional customer service should look like. 👏🏼

With her background in sales and retail, Claudia has brought so much knowledge, insight, and positive change to our overall customer experience. She is always willing to go the extra mile, not only for our customers, but for her fellow employees as well.
She treats everyone with kindness, patience, and respect, and that’s exactly the kind of person we are proud to have representing Lost Texan BBQ. 🤠
