Thank you to all of the wonderful service workers who are out there tonight keeping the lights on and the roads clear.

We've been without power for two instances in the last two days due to the storms, and the excellent teams at Ameren, the Village of Pleasant Plains, Cartwright Township Road District and more, have been working hard to keep the down time to a minimum.

We did close early tonight as a transformer blew after being struck by a large falling branch on the road behind us, but we're once again up and running and will be ready for Fish Friday tomorrow!

With heat indexes expected to top 100° today, we're making a little change to keep everyone comfortable.

Lunch service is being moved to The Grainery Venue side, where it's cooler!

Our original bar side is pushing 100 years old and, while it has plenty of charm and character, it wasn't exactly designed with modern summer heat in mind. The newer venue space stays much cooler and offers plenty of room to relax and enjoy your meal.

So grab your coworkers, friends, or family and come check out the "cooler" side of The Grainery today! 😎

Congratulations to our PPHS Girls Soccer Team on an incredible season and an outstanding 2nd Place finish at the State Tournament today!

This evening, many of our Grainery guests joined us in welcoming the team home and cheering them on during the caravan through town.

A special thank you to the Pleasant Plains Fire Department for once again helping our community celebrate and for their unwavering support of our local teams and student-athletes.
