Our business legal name is 2 Fair People, LLC which was established in 2010. Kahawa Cup, is our coffee brand as well as our business name. We started off by doing business as The Simba Shop selling Fair Trade handmade crafts including jewelry and decorative household items. We launched our coffee brand, Kahawa Cup, in 2015 which focuses on freshly roasted specialty Fair Trade Coffees. Check our co

For those of you still looking for Kahawa Cup.....found these at Mahaska Drug! Towards the back of the store! Sorry to keep reminding everyone....but at this time Kahawa Cup is not roasting coffee or doing any business. We closed all roasting operations and our store front in September. Some stores still have very few packages (since we did distribute). But when it is gone it is gone until we are able to begin roasting again. Sorry about that!

COFFEE: "a drink made from the roasted and ground bean-like seeds of a tropical shrub, served hot or iced."

I guess that is the definition according to the Google dictionary. To farmers around the world it is more than that.

The many ways that coffee impacts a persons life goes beyond a cup. For the time we have had to be part of that, we are thankful and proud to have been coffee roasters! We appreciate that so many of you have chosen ways to enjoy coffee by using Kahawa Cup beans!

But just as harvests come and go with seasons, so does business. It has been a good run but we will no longer be roasting beans for public consumption and will be shutting down all roasting by September 30th.
