Looks like the weather is going to be turning cooler! This being said, we will be closing for the season starting November 1st.

Please be patient with us over the next couple weeks as we bring our season to an end. We have a lot of our staff who have returned to school and/or are enjoying vacation this week so we are short staffed.

Today we have a large private event inside so we only have our outdoor space open for seating.

We want to take a special opportunity to thank everyone who came out and attended Plattsburg fall festival this past weekend. This annual event is always so bittersweet for all of us at The Backyard. While it is a wonderful time to get together with friends, meet new friends, and enjoy the festivities of a small town festival… It also reminds us that it’s almost time to bring our season to an end until spring. We will be working on continuing to serve our customers as we prepare to bring our 2024 season to an end.

We hope all of our customers and family and friends know how important and special you are to us. We appreciate the continued support, the laughs, the relationship, and memories. We continue to get every year with all of you. Without all of you… We are not us. And thanks goes to all of the amazing bands that gave us some great music this season!

I want to give a shout out to our family here at The Backyard. It is with appreciation, gratitude and pride to have the honor and privilege to work with these people here at The Backyard. Their tenacity, commitment, and passion for not only The Backyard but all of our customers Undoubtedly contributes to our success. Thank you to all of you for continuing to support our Backyard family.

We will remain open for a few more weeks until the weather turns… otherwise, we will see you in the spring with a lot of new surprises.
