Had such an amazing time with Mike Mayo and Lubie on The Lunchbox podcast yesterday.

Alright… I needed a night to let HHN 35 marinate. 😂🎃

And after thinking about it, this is where I landed.

For me, it’s not necessarily about which house is the scariest. I’m a sucker for a house that makes me slow down, look around and appreciate the amount of work that went into creating the world around you. Give me great sets, atmosphere, details and those moments where you almost forget you’re supposed to be watching for the next scare.

So based purely on set design, atmosphere and overall visuals, here’s my HHN 35 list:
🥇 Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control
🥈 Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness
🥉 Hellraiser
4️⃣ Sinners
5️⃣ H.R. Bloodengutz 
6️⃣ Stranger Things 5 
7️⃣ Evil Dead Burn 
8️⃣ Madlands: Caged Cannibals 
9️⃣Cybergoria 
🔟 Invasion: Alien Abduction

And before anybody comes for me 😂 — Cybergoria being #9 visually doesn’t mean I didn’t like it. In fact, it is one of the goriest houses. I just felt its repetitive, oppressive environment worked more toward making you uncomfortable than giving you those big visual moments I personally love.

Jack & Oddfellow, on the other hand… I could’ve walked through that thing with the lights on just to look around. 👀 The scale, colors, circus imagery, effects and all the little details made it the one that stuck with me visually.

And Ozzy deserves a special mention. 🤘🖤 More than just a visually impressive house, it felt like a genuine celebration of a legend. Walking through the different eras, music and imagery of his career made the whole thing feel like one big, beautifully twisted love letter to the Prince of Darkness. A hell of a way to pay homage to Ozzy.

But that’s the beauty of HHN — 10 people can walk through the same 10 houses and leave with 10 completely different lists.

Wicked Bread is coming to the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.

If you’re familiar with the Broadwalk, you know opportunities like this don’t come around very often. So when this little spot became available, right on the Broadwalk and just steps from the sand, it felt like one of those opportunities you simply don’t pass up.

What started as a little idea at a farmers market has taken us places we never could have imagined, and none of it happens without all of you who continue to show up, tell your friends, share our posts, and support this crazy little thing we call Wicked Bread.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity, excited for what’s ahead, and ready to bring a little Wicked magic to the beach. 🧙‍♀️🌊
