October has something sweet and savory for tequila and taco lovers.

Our featured October Margarita is the Mandarin Margarita — where smooth Socorro reposado tequila mingles with juicy mandarin and velvety vanilla agave, creating a vibrant burst of citrus balanced by gentle warmth and a lingering touch of sweetness.

Our October Food of the Month are Tacos al Pastor which originated in central Mexico in the 1960s. They were inspired by Lebanese immigrants who brought shawarma-style spit-roasted lamb. Taqueros adapted the method by using marinated pork with chiles, spices and pineapple, creating a signature street food.

At Mi Dia, this tradition is reimagined with smoked pork belly rubbed in achiote served on blue corn tortillas with pineapple, pickled onions, micro cilantro and avocado puree. Served with Oaxacan black beans poblano rice & jalapeño lime sauce.
