As most of you know I have retired. The closing with the new owner was yesterday. At the open house SO MANY of our dear friends came to wish all of us a happy future and it was certainly a bittersweet time. Us girls have so many fond memories of our customers who are also our friends. We have decided to form a Breakfast Club every Tuesday at area restaurants with Clipper Cafe in Martin being our first stop. We'll get together around 9:00 a.m. and this will help us keep track of each other. Very soon this page will be shut down so friend me, Nancy Morehouse, for updates on the Breakfast Club. Thanks again for the memories. Love ya all.

ROUSH MEMORIAL: Join us at a memorial event to honor Mr. Timothy Roush tomorrow (Friday, May 20). The event will begin with a rocket launch (weather dependent - rain date 6/3) at the PHS Track at 2:30 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the Performing Arts Center (will run as scheduled regardless of weather). 🚀

Our spring salad is made with fresh baby spinach, fresh sliced shrooms, fresh sliced strawberries and crumbled bacon with a vinegrette dressing. Yeh, I know, I spelled that wrong. The chili turned out GREAT yesterday and so did the cornbread. Second day is always the best.
