SCU serving Purdue University Students was a special moment while they visited NYC for a week. It was a pleasure to work with the staff at Aloft as they opened their work space for us to prepare, set up and serve. We had the entire lobby smelling so good and inviting that other guest thought the food was for them to partake.

3 Days to and from Trenton, NJ to Harlem, NY serving the Students and Staff from Purdue University. Breakfast & Lunch! Faced with a power outage on the 2nd day, yet provided wholesome meals at the Aloft Hotel’s lounge area. Plus delivered lunch boxes to the Maysles Documentary Center. It was a wonderful experience. A little behind the scenes action. Having fun while working with my assistant Kassandra. With this line of work you become accustomed to working every aspect from planning, organizing, shopping, unloading, prepping, cooking, cleaning, packing, delivering, setting up, serving plus so much more. All of this requires a team. This professional young lady new to the team definitely is an asset. and all that was done could not have happened without you!

On this snowy Sunday this is the BEST meal. Chicken Rice soup. Whole Roasted Chicken, celery, onions, carrots, thyme, jerk seasoning, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, rice, homemade chicken stock garnished with parsley and crackers.
