Two Plainfield institutions
Goddard and River Run were always linked, have both played a part in Plainfield’s history and, in some ways, remain an iconic piece of Plainfield. It’s only fitting that they revive that history together with Plainfield’s diverse community and the legendary River Run’s breakfast. On August 23rd, River Run breakfast will be served at the Haybarn Restaurant starting at 7:00AM and going to 11:00AM or so. We’re planning a schedule of breakfasts and will announce soon.
For those that weren’t around for the River Run days, the restaurant received national acclaim for its down-home, creative breakfast and consistently won Seven Day’s Daisy Awards for Best Breakfast in Vermont. All the classics like the big buttermilk pancakes, French Toast, Patrick’s Fancy Homes, Veggie Scram, Sausage Gravy with Biscuits will be on the menu as well as the old and new “dinner for breakfast” specials.
