Not sure why this popped up today, but when Covid started and we couldn’t have anyone inside I made a bunch of videos reading books for the kids.
I barely remember doing these. That time was very stressful and we were all just trying to survive.

I’m going to brag on my wonderful and incredibly talented daughter, Julia, for a minute. ❤️

After spending years by my side at the Cheesecake Store, helping make the food, keep things moving, and doing whatever needed to be done, Julia is ready to start her next chapter.

She has always had a heart for helping people, and she’s now hoping to get her foot in the door at a hospital, medical office, or healthcare facility in an entry-level position.

If you know someone who is hiring, knows someone who is hiring, or works in the medical field and might be willing to point her in the right direction, I’d truly appreciate you reaching out or sharing this post.

Let’s Show Up for Our Local Small Businesses this weekend!

The recent storms and power outages have taken a serious toll on our local mom and pop businesses. They’re already dealing with tight budgets, rising food costs, and sky-high utility bills. Losing several days of sales can be devastating.

I’m asking all 30,000 of my fans to make a point of supporting a local small business this weekend.

Grab breakfast. Get lunch for staff. Pick up coffee and dessert. Shop local. Even a small purchase can make a difference.

I know downtown Plainfield was without power for days, so please make an extra effort to visit those businesses and help them get back on their feet.

Let’s remind our local mom and pop business owners that we support them!
