🍪 A Little Sugar Sweet Cookies Update 🍪
This is a long one, so strap in.....
If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been pretty quiet lately, with little to no posting or activity on the page. There’s actually a pretty big reason for that!
With my new paraprofessional job at my kids’ school and the world of travel hockey taking up more and more of our family’s time, I’ve decided it’s time for a little change in my life — and to take a step back from Sugar Sweet Cookies.
I’ve absolutely loved the creative side of this business over the years, but I’ve also learned that cookie burnout is very real. 😔 What was once fun and exciting slowly started to feel more like a drain, and it became harder and harder to balance the business with my personal life and, most importantly, my family.
I want to truly thank every single customer who has supported me, ordered from me, recommended me to a friend, shared my work, or simply followed along over the years. Your support has meant so much to me, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for all of the word-of-mouth love you’ve given my little business. 🥹
For now, it’s time for me to step back and put my focus elsewhere — especially on my new paraprofessional job, which is an opportunity I’m very excited about! Being able to work at my kids’ school is an added bonus, and I really want to soak up this time with them while I can.
So while this isn't a goodbye forever, it is me taking a break and putting my focus elsewhere for a little while.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for loving, supporting, ordering from, and being a part of my little cookie business. What started as something small became something I was incredibly proud of, and I’ll always be grateful for the people who helped make Sugar Sweet Cookies what it is. 🍪❤️
