We want to be transparent with our guests and our community.
Smokin’ Jerry’s has only been under new ownership for a little over a year, and we are incredibly proud of how much has changed in that time.
When ownership took over, we chose not to erase everything and start over. We kept the name, the menu, the staff, and many of the things people had loved about Jerry’s for years. Our goal was to keep the heart of the place while building something stronger around it.
That process took time. We stepped into a restaurant with a long history, strong opinions, and a reputation that existed before us. Only a few months later, we were thrown headfirst into our very first busy season while still learning the business, setting new standards, building a new culture, and figuring out what needed to stay and what needed to change.
We did not get everything right immediately, but we learned, adjusted, and kept moving forward.
Today, we have an almost entirely new kitchen team and one of the strongest front of house teams we have had since ownership changed. We are incredibly proud of our staff and the way they have grown, adapted, and continued showing up for our guests and this community.
We are also beyond thankful for the people who show up for us every day. Every visit, kind word, recommendation, review, and second chance has helped us grow. Your support means more than you probably realize, and we would not be where we are without you.
We have continued listening and making changes, including a new summer menu built for sharing, platters, combination meals, a Family Pack, smoked chicken, soup of the day, a new drink menu, rotating daily specials, more live music, sports on the TVs, larger w**e glasses, and yes, real knives.
We are also working on Anchor Hour, our new happy hour plan, with even more exciting things to come.
We are proud of how far we have come, grateful for the team and community behind us, and genuinely excited about where Smokin’ Jerry’s is headed.
Come try the new menu, enjoy a drink by the water, and see what we have been building. We are working every day to make Smokin’ Jerry’s the welcoming, fun, dependable neighborhood spot this community deserves.
