For more than 61 years, Tlaquepaque has been more than a restaurant—it has been a family, a gathering place, and a home for celebrations, friendships, and memories. We are grateful to have carried our family legacy into the fourth generation, especially in an industry where so many businesses do not make it past their first decade.
Our handcrafted Mexican cuisine, prepared with time-honored family recipes, has welcomed generations of families through our doors. Seeing customers who first visited as children now bring their own children and grandchildren is the legacy we cherish most.
To our loyal customers, friends, neighbors, family, and team—past, present, and future—thank you for your support, hard work, loyalty, and belief in Tlaquepaque. You have allowed us to grow, give back, and become part of life’s most meaningful moments.
We are proud to remain committed to Old Town Placentia and its preservation, revitalization, and future. We are equally grateful for our partnership with Cal State Fullerton, where, for more than 40 years, we have helped raise over $3 million for low-income, first-generation students.
This award may bear Tlaquepaque’s name, but it belongs to everyone who has helped shape our journey.
After 61 years, we are still serving, giving back, supporting our community, and looking toward the future—with grateful hearts.
