BB's Hot Spot was born out of Ronny's intense desire to be "his own boss." Ronny came from a restaurant background - food catering business and started working in that field at a very early age and has experience in many aspects of this service industry such as Head Server, Dining-room Captain, Assistant Manager, and Owner/Manager. His experience ranges from working in several "quick foods" servic
e operations to fine-dining operations. He honed his culinary and foodservice craft from working along with several top executive chefs and restaurant managers. Ronny took his experience working in those establishments to help him establish his own restaurant business on Grenada's Caribbean island. After relocating to the United States, Ronny went straight into the field he knows and loves best. He continued his work in many well-known, established hotels and restaurants in the Berkshires, again from the quick-paced places to the fine-dining experience. The burning desire to start his own business re-ignited. Ronny started with a small operation at the concession stand at Lake Onota. Covid-19, with all its uncertainties, presented a unique opportunity for Ronny to own and operate the long-desired food truck. BB's Hot Spot mission is to provide a warm and family-friendly atmosphere with tasty comfort dishes at affordable prices. A place to enjoy the traditional American favorites of Burgers, Hot Dogs, and fries paired with some Caribbean specials as Jerk Chicken served with rice prepared in various ways. He also aims to introduce other traditional Caribbean foods such as stewed and curried meat specials in the future.
