We haven’t had a chance to tell our funny story….

Weeks ago a labor department officer came to the restaurant and was greeted by Basil the 6 year old “waitress” and shown to a table. We were informed that even though Basil is our daughter, and mostly playing while she “waitresses”, that she needs a work permit.

There isn’t much you can make a 6 year old do, especially strong willed Basil. She loves to hand out menus and greet customers… she may even bring you your check. You never know when she is “on the clock” or off…and neither do we 🤣 she graces us with her waitressing presence at will!

After a few back and forth phone calls and a trip to the MSAD 53 superintendent, Basil became the youngest member of Pittsfield to obtain a work permit!

We are so proud as a family of Basil. She loves working with her family and community. Town of Pittsfield, Maine

Friday, yay! We are open for breakfast, lunch and supper. Stop in and try some Maine potatoes as home fries, chips or fries. All hand cut and fried fresh.

Get a chefs choice omelet or invent one yourself. And don’t forget about eggs Benedict!

Happy Friday! We are open for breakfast, lunch and supper today!

It was a great first game night! 5-7 seems like the perfect amount of time! We will be back next Wednesday for another game night 5-7 or until people are done playing games.

Thank you to everyone who came and made our first game night such a blast!

Tonight is the night! Game night at 5pm at Vittles.

The kitchen will be closed. We will have drinks and snacks for sale…But feel free to bring your own supper, snacks or beverages!

This is our fist game night. We have a good selection of games to share, or you can bring one of your own. For younger kids, the play house is open and we will have coloring station!
