The garden now gets its own night.

Every other Monday in 2026, Starting June 1st, One By Spork is offering a dedicated vegetarian series built entirely around our onsite urban micro farm. Two welcome bites in the lounge, six savory courses, dessert, and your choice of a wine and cocktail pairing or a spirit-free option that follows the same seasonal logic as the food.

No decisions, no menu, no meat or fish. Just what the farm is growing right now, plated with the same care as any other night in this room. $167 per person, pairings included. Doors at 6:00.

288 glasses of wine. 18 seats. One question all night: France or California?

We ran the 50th anniversary rematch of the Judgment of Paris, the 1976 blind tasting that shook the wine world when California beat France in Paris. Seven courses, two glasses each, no labels. Guests scored every pour. Envelopes opened after the last red.

One of the wines on the table was Mayacamas Cabernet from Mt. Veeder, the same mountain, the same winery that competed fifty years ago. The 1976 judges thought it might be Bordeaux.
Sunday's guests had the same experience.

Dry aging a duck breast is a decision you make days before anyone sits down. Szechuan peppercorn, coriander, honey, sunchoke puree, haricots verts, carrots, crispy leeks, burgundy reduction. Some courses start with a recipe. This one started with patience.

Cold before hot. Bright before char. The gazpacho hits first: tomatillo, cucumber, avocado, mint. Then the yakitori octopus arrives and rewrites everything. We built this dish around a feeling, not a formula.
