Happy 4th of July! Proper is OPEN today from noon to 8pm (last seating at 7:15) so come raise a toast with us after the Pirates game, before the fireworks, or during the Furries festivities in downtown Pittsburgh!

‼️ Hey Proper friends and fans, we’ve got some bad news: now our air conditioner is down and we can’t get the needed part to repair it until early next week.

This is a nightmare for us to be closed on a weekend but we can’t subject our guests or our staff to these conditions. 😓

After a busy holiday weekend we’re giving our staff an extra day off! Proper will be closed on Tuesday 5/28 and will reopen at 5pm on Wednesday 5:29.

Hey Yinz Guys! Even if the only island you’re visiting this weekend is Neville, you can still kick off your holiday weekend with a tropical cocktail from Proper! 🍹 🏝️

On the left is our Watermelon Mojito, made with local Big Spring White Rum, fresh watermelon, lime and mint 🍉 🍋‍🟩

On the right is our Proper Painkiller, blending together THREE local rums (Maggie’s Farm Dark, Big Spring Spiced, and Big Spring Coconut), banana liqueur, pineapple and lime 🥥 🍌 🍍

We’ll be open all weekend for our regular hours of operation, but we’re closed next Monday and Tuesday so our staff can extend their holiday!

🥪 We’ve got a delicious new sandwich for you, the Bistecca! Tender pan-seared flat iron steak, white cheddar, baby arugula, pickled red onion, and a house-made fresh horseradish mayo served on a toasted baguette with crispy French fries. This beauty is available from noon-4pm Thursday-Saturday.

Come dine and drink with us before or after today’s Home Opener! We’re a short walk across the 7th Street bridge from PNC Park.
