We know…we have been struggling to be open. Life has run over our small business like a garbage truck in a tight alley, and then backed out. It has made your search for tea hit and miss. We are truly sorry for the locked door when you came to visit.

Yes, we need to relocate and rethink our business model. We are looking for a partner to share space with. Until then our shop will be open this Sunday. We are still blending, taking orders and are available by appointment.

Cross your fingers and we are talking to the tea leaves, looking for a way forward.

15 years ago, we started a small cafe in the west end called Zoe’s Herbs and Teas. We made quiche and soup everyday. Many days my mom joined me in the kitchen. She had retired and dad had passed. Gryphon worked on the teas. Mom made crusts and bread. I cherish those days. She was so proud.
Then she lost her sight, she could not drive. A few cancer scares and she became home bound. Hearing loss and a long slow walk until she passed yesterday. Some of you have followed us since then. Please try to be kind to each other. And understand, small businesses are doing the best we can.

We received a citation from the city building inspector regarding our banner that has hung since we moved in. It was reported by someone who saw it and decided to contact BI who was then forced to submit a citation. We were not the only one reported. I wonder why? Maybe my No Kings sign? Or was it my rainbow flag that pi**ed you off? WTF is wrong with people?
