Bistro to go Café & Catering is full service catering & event planning establishment located on Pittsburgh's Historic Northside. Weddings, corporate meals & events, bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, family gatherings, tailgates and more. We are proud to create extraordinary, delicious delicious food from diverse cuisines, made from the freshest ingredients. We offer hearty cross-cultural comfort foods, healthy favorites, vegetarian/vegan and gluten free selections. We are now taking orders for the 2024 wedding season.

What a special night at Pittsburgh Glass Center’s Art on Fire Celebration + Auction, celebrating 25 years of creativity, education and community. ❤️‍🔥

Under the leadership of Executive Director Heather McElwee, Pittsburgh Glass Center continues to be an important part of Pittsburgh’s arts community, bringing artists, students and the public together through exhibitions, education, artist residencies and community programs. Art on Fire is a wonderful celebration of that mission and helps support the programs that make it possible.

Coordinated by our own Laurie Streiner, the evening brought together incredible glass art, live demonstrations and plenty of great food.

Guests enjoyed our Summer Heirloom Tomato & Salt Bar, along with Small Bites including Jumbo Blackened Shrimp Skewers and Crispy Rice Paper Spring Rolls.

Chef’s Small Plates featured Braised Rustic Beef Short Ribs, Whipped Cream Potatoes, Sea Salt Roasted Red Potatoes and Caramelized Brussels Sprouts.

Our Artisan Sliders included Smoked Pulled Chicken, Smoky Beef Brisket and Roasted Heirloom Carrots with Whipped Ricotta.

Our staff especially enjoyed the pumpkin patch filled with beautiful hand-blown glass pumpkins — a perfect fall touch and one of our favorite parts of the evening.

ACE Bartenders kept the drinks flowing throughout this memorable night supporting Pittsburgh Glass Center and Pittsburgh’s vibrant arts community.

Congratulations to Madi & Allen! 💖

Their beautiful September wedding at the Energy Innovation Center began with a ceremony in BrightSpace, surrounded by a sophisticated palette of black, white, dark sage green, and gold accents. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and curated by Sarah from Elle Klein Events.

Guests enjoyed Artisan Fruit & Cheese and Antipasti during cocktail hour before moving into a beautifully paced, multi-course dinner.

Dinner began with our Artisan Simple Salad, followed by a plated Three Cheese Risotto intermezzo. The main course was an elegant duet of Lemon Artichoke Chicken with oregano, thyme, cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, and a drizzle of balsamic, alongside Carved Roast Beef Tenderloin, Yukon Mashed Potatoes, and Fresh Petite Green Beans.

The evening continued with a classic Pittsburgh cookie table, beautifully displayed with bridges overflowing with an incredible assortment of cookies.

Such a beautiful celebration for Madi & Allen!✨

Last night, we joined Table Magazine and Tile & Designs over in Shadyside to celebrate their relationship and the beauty they bring to Pittsburgh and the East End.

We had a blast celebrating the bounty of summer and the culinary fun we can have with sweet corn, juicy watermelon, and the many ways to bring peaches to the table.

The night was filled with joy and laughter as new friends were made and the celebration of community continued to grow.
