We know that college application time is a stressful time for many families.

At the JCC, we offer group college counseling sessions and classes at a competitive price point.

In May and June, we are pleased to again offer a class on drafting and crafting the Common Application admissions essay.

Do you know there is a famous Israeli and Arab cheesy-dessert dish called Knafe?

Our shinshiniyot made knafe with some teens yesterday and talked about how knafe can be seen as a "common demoninator" in Israeli culture.

"Everyone eats knafe. Ashkenazi Jews, Mizrachi Jews, Arab Christians and Arab Muslims - we all eat it because, well, it's delicious!"

College application consultant and founder of 412CollegeCounseling, Lauren Lieberman, returns to the JCC for a three-hour session on crafting and drafting the Common Application essay!

Students will learn about, strategize for, and begin to craft their college admission essay -- all for $100!

Monday commemorated Yom Hashoa, Holocaust remembrance day in Israel. This week, the Second Floor is displaying the biographies of 3 holocaust survivors, accompanied by artwork they individually created. We encourage students to take a moment to observe and reflect on these pieces this week.
