As many of our regulars may know, chef had been occupied prioritizing family matters this year.

After being diagnosed in Nov 2023, a fierce battle with cancer kept operations at bay as Alex took time to care for his mother in her final days.

We heard there weren’t many places in the city that had this option, so we ordered local halal beef fat from Salem's Market and rendered it down for yinz, it’s tastier and makes you feel better than commercially fried food!
