Did you catch us on Talk Pittsburgh today for Sugar Cookie Day? ✨

Maddy showed Heather and Ron how to decorate shark iced cutout cookies for the summer. Our lovely hosts are pros with a piping bag by now, and we couldn't be prouder of how they iced the eyes and teeth.

Years ago, a woman approached owner Kathy Battis with a recipe for a cookie that would shape the future of the bakery. Named after the woman, Alfie’s French Crème continues to be Pastries A-La-Carte’s signature cookie with its sweet French crème sandwiched between two delicate wafer cookies.
