Cookie’s Creamery Ice cream shop right outside of downtown Pittsburgh; offering 30+ flavors of hard ice cream everyday! It’s what Grandma Cookie would want!

Cookie’s Creamery was founded on April 9, 2022, by Josh Helfer and the Helfer family. It is named after Josh’s grandmother whose nickname was Cookie. Cookie was an ice cream connoisseur and enjoyed the tasty frozen treat as often as she could. She is no longer with us, but her memory and her love of ice cream live on through this ice cream shop. With a large menu featuring milkshakes, sundaes, fre

We had the pleasure of bringing our Dirty Soda Bar to a graduation party, and it was a huge hit! We loved watching guests enjoy their beverages while celebrating an incredible graduate and all of their hard work.

Cookie’s Creamery was brought to life by Cookie’s grandson, Josh Helfer. His vision was to carry the legacy of someone who meant the world to him, his grandmother.

Grandma Cookie was the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. Her warmth, kindness, and love for the simple moments in life left a mark on everyone who knew her.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives on in the name of the creamery and in the spirit of what it stands for: community, connection, and sharing something sweet with the people around you.

Every scoop served here carries a little piece of that legacy.
