Some dishes don’t need to be complicated to be unforgettable.

Our Fried Edamame is one of those ideas that simply works—fried until crisp, glazed with sweet soy and honey, then finished with toasted sesame and scallion. Sweet, savory, nutty, and nearly impossible to stop reaching for.

It’s exactly the kind of food I love seeing at City Kitchen: familiar enough to welcome you in, but unexpected enough to make you look twice.

Some menu items come and go. These never needed to.

Somi’s Bulgogi Beef Egg Rolls have been one of our longest-standing and most-loved dishes from the very beginning. Crispy wrappers packed with tender bulgogi beef, caramelized onion, toasted sesame, and served with pepper aioli for the perfect kick.

They’re the appetizer our regulars keep ordering, the one newcomers wish they’d discovered sooner, and the perfect companion to any hot soup or stir fry.

Some favorites earn their reputation. These did it one bite at a time.
