Hey guys! I wanted to share some exciting news.. As many of you already know, Koala Coffee and Tea House experienced a change in ownership this May. Later this week you’ll notice our new sign out front, featuring our new name and logo to reflect this new beginning and our recommitment to serving this community for years to come.
If we’ve never met - my name is Katelyn, I grew up right down the road, and I’ve been managing this place since the very beginning! Our new name, Lucky Bug Coffee, is both a piece of my childhood nickname and the way I feel always and right now - so extremely, incredibly, and undeniably lucky. I always dreamed of owning my own business, but I never could’ve imagined getting to do it in my own backyard. Lucky Bug Coffee is a love letter to this community, who has shown me true compassion and kindness even in moments I didn’t feel I deserved it.
What to expect: While we will continue to better our space, expand, and improve our offerings, expect to see the same great staff and same great stuff next time you stop in. I could not be more appreciative of my family, friends, staff, and neighbors who have met this fresh start with excitement, love, and open arms. We hope to see you again soon!
