You helped make it a record-breaking weekend for us, and we truly couldn’t have done it without the amazing support of our community, our regulars, and everyone who chose to spend part of their holiday weekend with us.

🌞 It might only be 79° outside… but back in our kitchen it feels more like 100°+! 🔥🥵

While everyone else is looking for shade and air conditioning, our cooks are standing over hot grills, fryers, ovens, and steam—making sure every meal comes out just right.

So if you’re stopping by Fat Belly today, show our kitchen crew a little extra kindness. A smile, a thank you, or a little patience goes a long way when they’re working in what feels like a sauna.

🥵 This week’s heat is no joke…

While everyone else is looking for air conditioning, our cooks (and cooks in restaurants everywhere) are standing over hot grills, fryers, ovens, and steam all day long. It’s one of the toughest jobs in the building, especially when it’s pushing 90° or 100° outside.

So here’s a little challenge… if you know someone working the line this week, surprise them with a freeze pop, an ice cream, or an ice-cold drink. Heck, if you happen to be driving by and want to drop one off for our kitchen crew, we promise it won’t go unappreciated! 🍦🧊❤️

A little kindness goes a long way, and our cooks deserve every bit of it.

Our hearts are heavy today.

A tragic accident on Route 3 Friday night has affected so many lives and touched our entire North Country community. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Courtney and keep the Pariseau family in our thoughts and prayers as they continue to recover.

We also want to recognize the incredible good Samaritans who stopped to help, as well as the first responders, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and medical teams who answered the call and worked tirelessly under heartbreaking circumstances.

In small communities like ours, we feel these tragedies deeply. Please keep everyone affected by this accident in your thoughts, offer kindness where you can, and remember to hold your loved ones a little closer.
