Look up next time you're in the shop and you'll see something new hanging above our brew station: a stunning hand-tooled leather piece, gifted to us by longtime customer and talented artist Ric Harber of Ric's Leather & Engraving.

The detail is unreal: roses, oak leaves, acorns, all carved by hand around a longhorn skull. We're beyond grateful Ric thought of us and trusted a piece of his work to live on our wall.

🍯Local Honey Is Back In Stock! 🐝

We're excited to have Rocky River Bees' wildflower honey back on our shelves, straight from Chatham County, NC. Master beekeeper Jody Moore says he can't remember a drier year, and the drought meant a smaller harvest this season, but it also made the honey noticeably thicker and sweeter.

We've got the 1 lb glass bottles, 1/4lb mini bottles, and 1lb squeeze bottles in stock now, but supply is limited this year because of the smaller harvest, so grab yours while it lasts!

Coffee of the Week: Honduras Organic Reserva Pacavita

Honduras doesn't always get the spotlight it deserves. This week, we're changing that.

This organic lot comes from two farmers in the western highlands: Silvestre Vasquez, whose farm sits between two biological reserves on the slopes of Pico Congolon, and Joel Lopez, whose family has been farming the same land since 1865. Four generations of knowledge and care, poured into every harvest.

Grown at 1,400 to 1,700 meters, certified organic, washed processed, and hand sorted to strict European Preparation standards. The rich clay soil, mountain microclimate, and warm sun do the rest.

In the cup: MILK CHOCOLATE, ALMOND, PEAR, HONEY, LEMON, and LIME. Medium body, bright acidity, and the kind of balance that makes it easy to just keep drinking.

Stop in this week and give Honduras its moment.

Coffee of the Week: Ethiopia Sidama Natural

Before coffee was a morning ritual, a café culture, or a global industry; it was born in Ethiopia. Arabica coffee plants are native to this land, and the people here have been cultivating and celebrating them for longer than written history can tell.

This week's coffee comes from the Sidama zone in southern Ethiopia, where the highlands stretch beyond 2,100 meters above sea level. Up here, the cool temperatures slow everything down. Cherries ripen slowly, flavors concentrate, and the result is something genuinely special.

These smallholder farmers grow ancient heirloom varieties using traditional methods, many without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The cherries are dried whole under the sun, letting time and terroir do what no machine ever could.

In the cup: COCOA POWDER, GOLDEN RAISIN, BROWN SUGAR, ROASTED HAZELNUT, and BLACK TEA. Light bodied, gently complex, and utterly grounding.

This is where coffee began. Come taste it this week.
