☕ Coffee of the Week: El Salvador Santa Ana

Don't let the size fool you. El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America, but what comes out of its volcanic highlands is anything but small.

This week's coffee comes from smallholder farmers tucked into the mountainous slopes of Santa Ana, where rich volcanic soil and high elevations between 1,100–1,600 meters slow the growing process just enough to build something special. Growing classic Bourbon and Pacas varieties, these farmers hand sort every lot to European Preparation standards, fewer than 8 defects per 300 grams. That kind of care doesn't happen by accident.

The result is a beautifully balanced cup with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, dried fruit, almond, and red apple. It's smooth, medium bodied, and just bright enough to keep you coming back.

This is the kind of coffee that reminds you why the details matter. Come taste it this week. ☕

Due to the threat of severe weather, we will be closing today at 1:00 PM.

The National Weather Service has issued a Level 4 Moderate Risk for our area, with damaging wind gusts, large hail, and possible tornadoes expected this afternoon and evening. The safety of our customers and team comes first!

Please make sure you have a way to receive weather alerts and stay indoors when storms approach. We plan to reopen normal hours tomorrow.

Every great cup has a story. This one starts on the volcanic slopes of Mt. Kenya, where smallholder farmers — organized into cooperatives — hand-pick cherries and carefully process them through traditional washed methods.

The result? A beautifully complex coffee with notes of stone fruit, apricot, dark chocolate, lime, brown sugar, and roasted almond — medium bodied with a bright, clean finish.
