Six years ago today — May 26, 2020 — during an especially uncertain and challenging time, we opened our doors for to-go cocktails with hope and optimism for the future.

It was also the first opportunity for customers and future patrons to step inside and experience Merryman’s — the new neighborhood pub in Uptown Pitman.

What began as a way to stay connected with our community became countless meaningful memories, incredible support, and a lasting reminder of the strength and resilience of this town. 🍻

We extend our sincere gratitude to the town, Mayor Michael Razze, former Mayor Russ Johnson, council members and Pitman staff, our customers, employees, partners, vendors, and this extraordinary community for standing beside us every step of the way. Your kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support meant more than words can express. ❤️

We would not be here without all of you.

About Andrew Ruggieri:

Andrew Natale Ruggieri is a native Philadelphian, admired for his love of music and performing since picking up the microphone at 7 years old.

First finding his love for musical theater in high school, Andrew began studying Arts Production and Performance at Neumann University, transitioning into University of the Arts focusing more on classical music, musical theater and jazz, graduating in 2013.

Quickly making the move to New York City, Andrew auditioned and booked the role of Mike in the Broadway National and International Tours of “A Chorus Line”, traveling all through the United States and Japan. Andrew booked a second Broadway National Tour with “Chicago”, which was unfortunately interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

After playing many leading roles in several regional houses, Andrew landed his dream role as Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys”, with the chance to live through Frankie in three amazing productions. Most recently, Andrew portrayed Frankie Valli at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, and also appeared as Bob Wallace in their production of “White Christmas.”
