Located in the heart of Pineola, N.C., Cellucci’s Italian Restaurant & Bar is proud to carry on a tradition of great food and warm hospitality while introducing a fresh, exciting new chapter. Formerly known as The Italian Restaurant, we are a family-owned and operated business bringing a more relaxed and enjoyable dining experience to our beloved Avery County community. Under the new ownership of Greg and Patty Cellucci and their twins Alexandra and Michael, the restaurant is undergoing thoughtful updates inside and out. From a refreshed interior design inspired by the charm of an Italian bistro to enhanced seating arrangements that provide comfort and flexibility, Cellucci’s is creating the perfect environment for making memories over delicious meals. While honoring the restaurant's 28-year legacy of serving the community, we’ve also introduced a few exciting updates. Our menu now features new appetizers like chicken wings, crispy chicken tenders, golden mozzarella sticks, and loaded potato skins—perfect for sharing and starting your meal with a burst of flavor. Of course, all your favorites remain, including our best-selling pizzas, savory calzones, and fresh Greek salads, complemented by a wide variety of pasta dishes and other classic Italian fare. Our pizza and calzone dough is made fresh daily! We make our own marinara, Alfredo and pizza sauce, too! Our lasagna, eggplant and even our Tiramisu is made on premises fresh! Greg Cellucci brings decades of experience to the table, having grown up working in family-owned restaurants on Long Island. Greg and Patty fell in love with Avery County for its natural beauty, strong sense of community, and welcoming people. They are committed to building relationships with customers, ensuring every visit feels special. Greg is a hands-on owner who can often be seen greeting guests, serving food, and gathering feedback to continuously improve the dining experience. Patty is an amazing pizza chef, always at the pizza table and oven, ensuring that her amazing creations are delivered to your table or takeout box. “The restaurant is very welcoming, comfortable, and clean. The staff is extremely nice! The food is fantastic! We had pizza but will be trying other menu items too. Everything looked so delicious and serving sizes were generous! I’m stuffed!”
