National Coffee Day. Convenient.

Two days left on The Long Watch. Sumatra Mandheling, hazelnut, cinnamon, caramel drizzle, twelve ounces in ceramic. Low acid, built to sit with something long.

We have a real barista and a real espresso menu, which is not a thing most cigar lounges can say.

Closed Mondays. Still thinking about the coffee though.

Two days left on The Long Watch, and they start tomorrow. We're closed today (Mondays are ours), but the machine is back on at 11 Tuesday and it stays on the menu through the end of the month.

Bring somebody, or bring your laptop. The afternoons in here are quiet.

Saturday, Carlos sits down and rolls one by hand in front of the room. About an hour. No signup, nothing to buy, come stand around and ask questions.

We have never done this before.

Nobody learns this from a book. That is the point, and it is the oldest thing about this trade: the hands are busy, so the teaching happens out loud.

Watching one get made changes how the next one tastes.

Saturday the 19th. Two years open, on Talk Like a Pirate Day. Paper & Strings play. Free at the door, doors at 11.
