To those harassing our business, saying we are a lazy company or a spam coffee business taking the easy way to make money:
Thank you for your uninformed, ignorant input.
It took six months to build our online store, secure inventory, negotiate deals with shipping companies for our customers, and test the many brewing methods for all of our different coffees through trial and error. We did this so we could help our customers find exactly what they’re looking for and understand how to brew it the way they want.
We’ve invested so much money in marketing, advertising, finding our customers, and searching for the right roasting company to meet our standards. It took a LOT of research to find a company that cares about every single bean it roasts, maintains strict standards for how the beans are grown and what they come into contact with, takes no shortcuts, and remains accountable. If those standards aren’t met, we will drop them.
We care about everything that happens from the very beginning until our coffee reaches our customers.
We don’t burn our beans to cover up exposure to pesticides or other harsh chemicals like our competitors do. We don’t allow our growers to use pesticides or any chemicals. We don’t allow our growers to select beans with issues. Our competitors don’t care. Burn away the evidence and don’t tell the consumer. That’s how they do things.
We are transparent. We tell you everything we can about the entire journey of our beans.
We also don’t add anything to our coffee bags to keep our beans appearing fresh when they aren’t, as many of our competitors do. We don’t want our coffee sitting on a shelf. We want you to receive it fresh and full of flavor, not after it has been stored in a warehouse for weeks, months, or years.
Why? Because by the time you open the bag, the beans will have lost the delicious natural flavor you deserve to taste.
Our competitors don’t care, but we do.
If we ever sold our coffee in stores, our bags would be in the freezer section so the beans could be preserved naturally!
Anyway, we aren’t a lazy coffee company. The companies you harassers support are the lazy ones.
