As a selected artist for 10 East Arts Class of 2026, I am giddy to share my new body of work, ALIVE IN WONDERLAND, at RE:PUBLIC in June!
This multidisciplinary series explores the concept of play as a form of renewal through watercolor paintings, miniature dolls arising from my painted worlds & marionette puppets that animates the characters fully to life.
To vibrantly kick off Pride Month, the public is invited to step into my wonderland at a soft opening on Tuesday June 2, 2026. This body of work is a love letter to kindred spirits.
On Thursday June 4, I will be reopening the doors to RE:PUBLIC to finally share my sacred process of alchemizing plants into paints. From 5p-7p, I will be offering an interactive demonstration showcasing the meticulous process of transforming fresh plants and various natural materials into brilliant watercolor paint. I will be closing out the exhibit with a First Friday reception on June 5 from 5p-8p. The public is invited one final time to immerse themselves in the playground of my mind and celebrate the most colorful of all the months together.
I am incredibly grateful to for inviting me to share this piece of my heart with you and providing the space to gather with community.
