When Lia’s opened our doors in May of 1983 the plan was simple, serve good, homemade Italian food. What began as a small mom n’ pop shop slowly evolved… the Lia’s you have all come to know, and love didn’t happen overnight. It took years, 40 to be exact. What started as a bare minimum staff, no printed menus and .25 Genny draft has grown into more than I think my grandparents could have dreamed of. Over the last 4 decades so much has happened in these four walls that I’m honestly not sure how one could begin to “sum it up.” We have been able to share so much love and laughter, joy and even sorrow that I don’t think words can do it justice.

Alas, the end of an era is here. It is with tear filled eyes that we share Lia’s will be closing our doors for the final time.

While I think the end of this chapter is the definition of bittersweet, I truly believe that my grandparents are proud of all that we have accomplished and understand this difficult decision. Although Lias may not be here for future generations, the friendships and memories made here will be a legacy that can never be forgotten.

To our staff, current and past thank you for being a part of our story.

To our customers, both near and far thank you for your continued support, without you, we would’ve never made it as far as we have.

It has been an honor and privilege to have been a part of so many lives for so many years.
