Hi…
Because of how I feel about so many of you, there’s no easy way to tell you so, here it goes…
After many sleepless nights and wrestling with the pros and cons, I’ve SOLD Steph’s.
My daughter started playing softball at age 5 and this is her senior year playing in college. The past two years, I’ve watched her online while scooping ice cream and I just decided, I won’t be able to get these years back.
As most know, I’m not from Pikeville but now I consider it a very special place. You’ve helped me through tough times and we’ve celebrated the great times TOGETHER.
I couldn’t just sell Swag, although I’ve had many offers. I HAD TO find the RIGHT people and I believe I have. My heart aches because I’ll miss the friendships we’ve developed but PLEASE KNOW, I’ll NEVER FORGET YOU or this AMAZING PLACE.
The new owners will be keeping the same business model. Açaí bowl, Velvet ice cream, Upike gear and friendly faces. I know this community will embrace them the same way you all embraced me. This will be the new name of Steph’s and they are working to have their logo replaced within the next few weeks. Their plan is to close tomorrow and reopen March 1st. Once they have their page set I will post for all of you to follow. The new logo is below. Today is the last day “Steph’s will be Steph’s” I will miss Soooo many of you and will stay connected to many. I will be around to join the new owners with their grand opening.
