Psst sos!

A lot of you heard about the storm that we had early this morning. It sounds like the town where my folks live, Highmore, was hit excruciatingly hard.

I'm going to be coordinating with my husband to see how much time we can dedicate to getting over to help, and this comes on the tail of just moving the salon to its new location, and not everything is in place just yet.

I may have to make some cancellations with this week's and possibly next week's schedule, and for that I'm truly sorry.

And this is where I do something that's very hard for me to do: I'd like to ask if there is anybody who is willing or able to help me getting my parents home back in order.

If you have a truck, trailer, chainsaw, and any bodily strength, please let me know. If you aren't able to help in any of those ways, I'm going to set up a Venmo link for any monetary help the community can give me and my parents. Likely there's going to be repairs, possibly even hiring people to haul tree branches of a massive, ancient tree out of their yard.

I remember how the Pierre community came together when we had risk of flooding and our homes being destroyed in 2011. I'm hoping I can call on those powers again for Highmore.
