What a weekend! 🎉🙌🏻🎉

We’re absolutely blown away by the love you showed us Saturday at the Greek Star food truck. Familiar faces, new friends, and so much support—it truly means the world to us.

We had an incredible—and very busy—day, including the honor of being part of the Amos Family’s 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration! 🎊❤️ Congratulations to the Amos family on such an amazing milestone, and thank you for letting Greek Star be a part of your special day!

Now, first days come with a few hiccups. We ran out of our regular fries and had to swap in a quick backup batch—we definitely weren't expecting that many of you! 😅 We know some of you noticed, and we can’t thank you enough for rolling with it. We hear you, and we’re already restocking so next time, it's crispy perfection all the way. 🍟

We’re also making checkout faster and easier—a new, smaller payment terminal is coming soon so you can skip the big screen and breeze through!

Day one was a huge success, and it’s all because of YOU. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your appetite. ❤️

We’re just getting started! More updates are coming, and we can’t wait to serve you again!

This week, we’ll be setting up right next to Combustion Brewery & Tap Room but not in their usual spot. We will be parked at the former home of Bob's Barbeque Pickerington location and future Greek Star Restaurant😉—so you can grab a pour and a gyro all in one stop! 🍻🌯

A New Chapter Begins

To our loyal customers, friends, and community,

The past several weeks have been a whirlwind. Every time I sat down to write an update, something changed, so I was waiting until I had something concrete to share. Today, I'm happy to say that day has finally come.

First, I want to say thank you. After announcing our closure, so many of you reached out with words of encouragement, shared potential locations, connected us with property owners, and kept an eye out for opportunities. We truly appreciate every message, recommendation, and conversation.

I'm happy to say that we've chosen the location for our next brick-and-mortar restaurant. While we're not quite ready to reveal it just yet, we're incredibly excited about what's ahead. There's still plenty of work to do, including finalizing the layout, completing a few improvements, and getting everything ready for inspection before we can welcome everyone back through the doors.

But we didn't want to keep everyone waiting in the meantime.

Over the past month, we've also been searching for the perfect food truck so we could get back to work as soon as possible. We looked at around a hundred trucks and trailers in person, traveled all across Ohio, and even took a road trip to Tennessee to see a few more. After countless miles and weeks of searching, we're excited to say we've finally found one that's a perfect fit for our business.
Right now we're busy renovating the truck, making it our own, and getting everything ready for inspection. We still have a little work ahead of us, but we're getting closer every day. Once it's ready, we'll be back to doing what we do best—making delicious food and sharing it with all of you.

Although the format may be different, our commitment remains exactly the same: great food, familiar faces, and the hospitality that has always been at the heart of Greek Star.

The food truck isn't our final destination—it's simply the next step in our journey while we prepare our new restaurant for its grand opening.

We'll be sharing more updates soon, including the location of our new restaurant, photos of the food truck, and, of course, our opening date as soon as everything is finalized.

None of this would be possible without you. Your encouragement, kind words, and unwavering support over the past several weeks have meant more than you know. Thank you for believing in us and for sticking with us through this transition.
This isn't the end of our story.

In many ways, it's just the beginning of a brand-new chapter, and we can't wait to share it with you.
