🇺🇸❤️ Happy 4th of July from our family to yours! ❤️🇺🇸
As we celebrate Independence Day, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our amazing customers. Your support, kind words, and smiling faces mean more to us than you know.
Back in 2020, we fell in love with Pickerel and decided to make it our second home. We transformed an old bar into the Pickerel Bunkhouse, a place where families and friends can gather and make memories together.
A little while later in 2023, this little ice cream shop came up for sale, and we looked at each other and said, "What the heck... why not?" 🍦😊
Looking back, we're so thankful we took that leap, although can be challenging at times running a business from afar with both of us having full time jobs. The Pickerel community welcomed us with open arms, and it has been such a blessing to watch so many of you create memories here—whether it's your child's first ice cream cone, a stop after a day on the lake, or a family tradition that brings you back each summer.
We also couldn't do it without our incredible manager, Ginger. She is truly the sweetest, most dependable person, and the heart of Pike 55. We are so grateful and blessed to have her as part of our family. ❤️
Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your Northwoods memories. We look forward to many more summers, scooping ice cream, sharing smiles, and welcoming you through our doors.
