What a blessing and honour to partner with Higher Ground Coffeehouse!

A new drip is dropping TOMORROW!! ☕️

We're excited to announce our partnership with Brotherhood Coffee! Beginning Monday, we'll be brewing their specialty coffee in the coffeehouse, and you'll also be able to take a bag home to enjoy.

Why Brotherhood?

Their story is one of faith, resilience, and the power of community.
Brotherhood Coffee was founded by the Barmak family from Ukraine who were forced to leave their home because of the war. Starting over in Canada—and later the United States—by God's grace they experienced the kindness of people who welcomed them, encouraged them, and helped them rebuild their lives.

That experience inspired the name Brotherhood Coffee—a reminder that even strangers can become family.

Their coffee is sourced in partnership with missionary Daniel Melton from a single farm in Honduras owned by a local pastor, creating opportunities that support farming families and strengthen the local community. Their specialty-grade beans are carefully selected to deliver exceptional quality, because they believe great coffee should make a difference and taste incredible.

At Higher Ground Coffeehouse, we believe in the same principles as Brotherhood. Coffee is about more than what's in the cup. It's about bringing people together, creating community, and making an impact.
We couldn't think of a better partnership.

Come by Monday and be one of the first to experience our new drip—and don't forget to grab a bag to brew at home! 💙

We love seeing the stories behind the coffee we roast. Grateful for trusted partners and for the opportunity to bring these coffees to our community through Brotherhood Coffee. Every bag we roast starts with many hardworking hands long before it reaches us. Proud to be a small part of that journey

This one's for you.

You could have bought coffee anywhere. A grocery store shelf, a big brand, a quick click on any number of websites. But you chose Melton Trading Co — and that choice traveled further than you might realize.

It traveled back through our roastery, across an ocean, up a mountainside in Honduras, and into the hands of the pickers, sorters, processors, and farmers who made this crop possible. People like Pastor Douglas and the families who work alongside him — people who rise before the sun, tend their land with pride, and pour everything they have into growing something worth drinking.

Your purchase is their fair wage.

Your order is their harvest valued.

Your loyalty is what makes this whole chain worth building.

We started Melton Trading Co because we believed great coffee and genuine care for people didn't have to be separate things. Every time you buy a bag, you prove that belief right.

So from us — and from every hand that touched your coffee before it reached yours — thank you. You're not just a customer. You're part of something that matters.

Our son “brewed” his own coffee, took a sip, and is already ready to conquer the world at full speed.
And honestly… he has way too much energy even without caffeine.

Meanwhile, for the rest of us just trying to survive the day… you might want a bag of Brotherhood Coffee.

Order now for Friday delivery — freshly roasted, locally made, and brewed to keep you going all day long.

Exciting news! Our new harvest from Honduras has arrived!
These beautiful beans bring the rich flavors and character that make Honduran coffee so special—smooth, balanced, and full of sweetness in every cup.
We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Daniel Melton and his family. Their friendship, support, and dedication have been such a blessing to us, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to work together.
We can’t wait to roast this fresh crop and share these amazing beans with all of you. Stay tuned—good things are brewing!
