thank you for this honor and to mentioned alongside 49 other amazing restaurants throughout the country. Truly is humbling and lets us know that we were on to something really good for the community, our food(southern food) belongs in the fine dining space and it can be done with the support of an amazing community. when we began this new chapter of the restaurant it was meant to be the final chapter, the defining chapter of a concept that has grown from the crack in the concrete. but like so many things that rely on so many other things to consistently work that hasn’t been the case with this. so with sad news I have to announce the shuttering of this version of the larder & the delta for now….I hope not forever because I truly believe that southern food belongs in the fine dining atmosphere. there are so many stories of the black American south to be told especially told in the valley. I’d like to thank the entire staff that worked so damn hard everyday pushing out multiple menus a week just to stay relevant in this city, just to stay at the top of your timeline, people never see the day to day that goes into making producing an experience that we were offering on the daily that we were providing and I cannot thank them enough, this absolutely sucks for them and there will never be enough words to express my gratitude nor my pure sorrow for also failing you at the same time. thank you to all of you who have supported us throughout this new journey and special thanks for those who showed up when we needed you. 🙏🏾

*please support your local chef driven restaurants this summer as much as you financially can, it’s already dead in some of your favorite places and that’s not a thing….the rent still has to be paid. If you want them to remain there you have to visit them

what’s next……I still will be cooking with my great friend in July for the so if you haven’t gotten your tickets to that please do so!

stay tuned for pop ups throughout the valley as I want to get back to cooking and working on something’s. this page isn’t going away, look for updates etc….
