In May 2025, my nephew’s world changed forever when both of his parents were killed in a tragic car accident, one of them was my sister. He was immediately placed into foster care, and after months of court hearings and paperwork, I traveled to Michigan to bring him home so he could be with family. His life has been filled with uncertainty, moving in and out of foster care, but now he finally has the stability and support he deserves.

Since coming to live with me, he’s become an honor roll student, found structure, and shown just how smart and resilient he is. I’m 46 and have never had kids of my own, so this is a new journey for both of us. I work in the restaurant field and want to give him every opportunity for a bright future; college, summer camp, and even his first car. The funds raised will help with day to day needs, daycare, and set him up for further education and a life he never thought possible.

Any support you can give will help my nephew build a brighter future and give him the opportunities he deserves. Thank you for being part of our journey.
