An evening centered around coffee excellence and community...

Marysabel Caballero and Moises Herrera are living legends in our world. Decades of commitment to their community and their respect for the environment and land has led them to not only producing remarkable coffee but having a lasting impact on the people around them. We partner with producers like Marysabel and Moises because merely being in their presence inspires us to aim higher and think bigger about the type of legacy we hope to leave behind someday.

Big shout to our crew (Ana, Levi, Brent, Hanna, Ryne) for helping putting in extra hours to help put this together, and a big thank you to our new friend Konoko for brewing with us! Shout to our production manager and head roaster Kayla for executing a beautiful roast of this coffee.

Join us for a unique one night only tasting event with the opportunity to meet the producers behind the coffee.

Marysabel Caballero & Moises Herrera are two legendary coffee producers from Honduras. Marysabel is a third-generation coffee producer, and her family pioneered specialty coffee production in the La Paz region. A 7x Cup of Excellence finalist, she won the award in 2017.

Their main farm, “El Puente,” is globally recognized for it’s production of high quality specialty coffee. We’ve purchased a few different lots from this farm recently.
This washed Geisha, however, is from their newer farm in San Isidro, a couple hours down the road from El Puente. It’s our first time purchasing from here.

This coffee, like most of our coffees, is roasted very light to showcase its citrus, florality, and clarity/depth of flavor. It will be properly rested four weeks at the time of the event, and bags will be available for sale at a discounted price.
The event will last around 2 hours and include a tasting of the coffee via hand brew (either on Orea or Solo Dripper) and on espresso as well.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet and hear from both Marysabel and Moises about their passion for growing high quality coffee and their commitment to social impact and sustainability. The event won’t be a formal sit down style event like we’ve done in the past. It will be more of a “taste coffee and chat together” style, much more informal.

Your purchase of a ticket includes unlimited filter coffee tasting, a double shot of espresso, and a bottle of sparkling water.

Moxie’s turning five and it’s time to party!

On Saturday, May 9 from 8am-1pm…

We’re celebrating with a Parking Lot Party in our garage just outside our front doors. We’ll have over 30 vendors (food, wine, art, jewelry, vintage, and more…) and a live DJ.

We’ve also recently unveiled our new bakery and we’ll be showcasing some of our newer pieces. It’s a perfect way to kick off Mother’s Day weekend!

Not sure where to start, but here’s some of our highlights (sorry if we’re leaving some things out, there’s too much to recount)!

- stole the show at SEY House. For all the energy and planning that took, thank you putting this on. Your attention to detail in intentionality is an inspiration to this industry.
