7 years, 7 months, and now it’s OFFICIAL. 🥹💕®️

Dough My Goodness started in February 2019 with a love for baking and an idea. I had no idea where this journey would take me, how much I would learn, how many times I would have to start over, adjust, grow, or keep pushing when things didn’t go the way I planned.

Over the years, this business has grown right alongside me. From cakes made in my kitchen, to cake jars, custom treats, markets, new customers, returning customers, opportunities I never imagined, and so many late nights bringing someone’s vision to life. 🎂💕

There have been highs, lows, breaks, changes, lessons, and plenty of moments where I questioned what was next but one thing I never did was completely give up on Dough My Goodness.

I started this business in February 2019, and today, September 1, 2026, I can officially say:

Dough My Goodness® is a federally registered trademark. 😭🎉

Seeing that ® next to a name I created over seven years ago means so much more to me than I can put into words. It represents years of work, creativity, growth, persistence, and believing that what I was building was worth protecting.

To every single person who has ordered from me, shared my posts, recommended me, booked me for your special moments, stopped by my table at a market, bought a cake jar, or simply encouraged me along the way, thank you. You have all been a part of this journey. 🥹💕

And we’re nowhere near finished.

There’s something extra special about creating a wedding cake when the love story belongs to your own family. 💙🤍

I’ve made a lot of cakes, but this one will always hold a different place in my heart. I had the honor of creating my mom and stepdad’s wedding cake, along with 50 little individual cakes for their guests, and then watching them cut into something I made with my own hands on one of the biggest days of their lives. 🥹

Every rose, every little bow, every detail was made with so much love. Seeing everything come together and watching my mom marry the person she loves made all the long hours worth it.

From being her daughter to being her cake artist for the day… this is one order I’ll never forget. 💍💙

And I have to give a special shoutout to the sweet and incredibly talented melody melody who created our custom cake toppers! 🥹 She brought the vision together so beautifully, and they were the PERFECT finishing touch. Thank you for putting so much care into something that will forever be part of such a special memory for our family. 🤍

Congratulations Mom & Dad. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and choosing each other. 🥂💙
